ESSENTIAL // COMPLETED

PROTOCOLS

Every line runs on two protocols. Essential covers the condition. Completed covers the condition and its long-term maintenance. The difference is scope, not quality.

Two protocols. Same condition, different scope.

Within each line, HLAB offers two ways to run the protocol. Essential treats the active condition. Completed treats the condition and extends the routine to maintain the result once it is reached.

Neither protocol is a stripped-down or upgraded version of the other. Essential is not incomplete. Completed is not optional add-ons. They are two different jobs.

01.

Start with the condition, not the protocol

Identify the line first. Balancing, Dandruff, or HAIRLOSS. The protocol decision comes after, not before.

02.

Choose Essential for an active, defined condition

If the condition is present now and has a clear starting point, Essential is built to resolve it directly.

03.

Choose Completed for recurring or ongoing conditions

If the condition returns, or has been present long term, Completed adds the maintenance step the condition requires.

01 Can I switch protocols mid routine
Yes. Move from Essential to Completed once the active condition is under control and maintenance becomes the priority.
02 Is Completed just Essential with more steps
+
No. Completed is formulated for ongoing use. It is not Essential with an extra product added on.
03 What if I am not sure which condition applies
+
Start with The Lines page. Each line states the condition it treats and the signs that identify it.
04 Do all three lines offer both protocols
+
Yes. Balancing, Dandruff, and HAIRLOSS each run on both Essential and Completed.

"Most men treat their hair.
HLAB treats the scalp."
